Calling all Scouts interested in History, Presidents, Baseball, Penguins, Space Exploration, Mountains, Holidays, Art, or just about any other topic you can think of. You can find each of these and just about any other special interest on postage stamps.
Join us for the Stamp Collecting Merit Badge workshop Saturday November 18th from 10 to 4pm at the Westin Chicago Northwest, 400 Park Boulevard, Itasca. The workshop will take place in the middle of CHICAGOPEX 2023, a meeting point for collectors and dealers from across the US.
To Be Prepared, plan on bringing a lunch, your signed blue-card, an active interest and lots of questions. Of course, if you already have a stamp collection, please feel free to bring it, too!
To register, please send the following information to BobZahm@gmail.com (Stamp Collecting merit badge counselor) Scout name, e-mail, troop (Council, District, Unit number) and Adult contact (name, e-mail).
We’ll provide everything needed for you to complete the Stamp Collecting merit badge requirements. You need to provide your curiosity! And, you’ll leave the workshop with your own stamp collection!
Deadline to sign up is November 14, 2023
